So-my VT companion posted the link to "makemebabies.com"-a site where you can upload 2 pictures, and it'll smush them together and make you a "baby." I uploaded a picture of Cam & me and tried 5 different times to "make a baby." I showed Cam our flock of kids. Mid-laugh he managed to communicate the words.
"Those...are not....our children!"
[laughing]
"They don't...look anything...like us!
[more laughing]
"What are they...all doing...with...blonde hair??!"
[they're not hideous. they just don't really look like us at all. AT all.]

...[bathroom humor]...ahem
so. I often use this blog as a way to remember the stories I want to tell when I have the creative energy to lay it out on a scrapbook page. I've been trying to figure out a way to tell this one without offending anyone [read: mom] but it's got to be remembered.
When Cameron goes to the bathroom, he closes the door, but doesn't lock it. He also doesn't shut it all the way, just enough so it looks closed. We are hopelessly addicted to lost, which involves a lot of "surprise" moments, and guns. The main female character in Lost is named Kate. I think she's fantastic. She stresses Cam out. So, one night, we watched like 3 episodes of Lost before deciding we couldn't take anymore and had to go to bed. Cam went into the bathroom and I kept talking to him. The next minute or so went about like this:
Me: Hey Cam!
Cam: Yeah?
Me: Guess who I am?
*kicks open the door and assumes 007 position against the wall. fingers in gun mode*
Cam: [screams like a girl, deer in the headlights expression]
Me: [falls back onto the bed laughing my head off] I was Kate!
Cam: [walks out of the bathroom, head low, speaks quietly] You made me pee on the shower curtain
oh the joys of married life. :)

Last Day of Spring Term!
text reads:
June 15th, 2009
Today, I had to turn in my final portfolio for my
advanced writing class at BYU. I didn’t time my day very well. The portfolio was due at 5 and I got out of class at 3, so I had 2 full hours to compile everything. Instead of getting right to work, I called Lindsay on my way home from class and talked to her for about a half-hour. When I got home, I spent time looking at blogs, talking to friends, and milling around the apartment. When it came down to it, one of my drafts wasn’t on the computer, so I had to re-type the entire thing. To top everything off, I forgot about the cover sheet that had to be turned in with it, and at 5 minutes to 5:00 printed everything off. I ran out the door and called my professor. He was just leaving his office. I ran as fast as I could up to campus. The flower fell out of my hair and I kicked my flip-flops off so I could run faster. I turned it in just as my professor was walking to the parking garage. I think it should be a rule that you can’t graduate from BYU without chasing down one of your professors.

Last day of School Party!!!
I just got this e-mail from my momma. :) If you're going to be in Flag-town this weekend, get your tail over to our house! food & cream fights. :) waterballoons and watermelon. You can't go wrong. :) If you're wondering if you're invited-you are. :)
Just in case you were wondering, the Last Day of School Party is still on, [& lots of people are going to be in Flag due to Grandpa Frost's Funeral]. If you have never been, plan on it because it is REALLY fun!
WHEN: Thursday, June 4th from 1-4p.m.
WHERE: Aunt Nancy's
WHAT TO BRING: wear tennis shoes and clothes that can get messy, towel, super soakers and your own shaving creme-2 cans per person is usually enough-and a change of clean clothes
WHAT TO EXPECT: we start with a shaving creme fight-the only rule is NO FACES-, then we'll hose off and get ready for the whipped creme pie fight. In the past we have put everyone's names in a hat and lined everybody else up like a firing squad. This year, because of numbers, we may break this down into more appropriate age groups.
FOOD: We'll have watermelon, pizza, rootbeer floats and cake.
please forward this to anyone...I have very few e'mails.
Hope you can come!
Aunt Nancy
bring your A-game Cameron and Mackay...my girls are due for a whoopin'
